Item #48 - Swales Pelham - $35

The Swales pelham is unique in its design as the main ring is attached to the mouthpiece so does not apply any poll pressure unless you take up a contact on the lower rein. It uses a lot more curb pressure than a traditional pelham which helps lift the horses head. This makes it very good for strong horses or those that lean down on the bit. Complete with traditional curb chain.

Mullen Mouth Pelham is a very mild bit as the pressure is distributed evenly through the mouth. Ideal for horses with small or soft mouths. Can be used with double reins or pelham roundings. Does not come with curb chain or hangers, hence price.
