Now all the fencing is removed from the bottom paddocks, Mark is really starting to move forward. We hired a trencher for 1 week to get all the trenching done in the bottom part of the farm which was measured at 1000 feet. So we hired it for a week. But, Mark being Mark finished it in 1 day! It was 105° heat index and full sunshine, but he championed through like always and got the job done, saving us a ton of money in hiring fees :-)
The bottom half of the farm will have 10 paddocks and each of them now has a hydrant shared between two paddocks. The pipework was laid at a 2.5 feet depth, so no pipes freezing in the winter, and its easy enough to break the ice in the troughs through the winter. This is going to be one well equipped farm!
